The England international had not started for over two months due to a thigh problem, but immediately influenced proceedings, setting up the opening goal inside five minutes and earning praise from head coach Alvaro Arbeloa. Trent's immediate impact Alexander-Arnold wasted little time reminding supporters of his quality. "Not just the passing to get the team running, but everything we want from him."
